Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
Snappy is powerful. With that comes responsibility - yours and ours. This policy explains what you can't do with SnappyClaw, and where you should apply extra care.
Absolute prohibitions
These uses are never permitted under any circumstances. Accounts found engaging in these activities will be permanently terminated and, where required by law, reported to authorities.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Generating, soliciting, or distributing any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. Zero tolerance.
Weapons of mass destruction
Creating or assisting with biological, chemical, nuclear, or radiological weapons capable of mass casualties.
Critical infrastructure attacks
Planning or executing attacks on power grids, water systems, financial systems, or other critical infrastructure.
Cyberweapons and malicious code
Creating malware, ransomware, exploits, or other tools designed to cause significant damage if deployed.
Election interference
Generating content designed to suppress voter participation, impersonate election officials, or spread false information about voting procedures.
Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
Generating, distributing, or assisting with the creation of intimate images of real people without their consent.
Targeted harassment
Using Snappy to harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate specific individuals.
Fraud and deception
Impersonating individuals or organizations, creating phishing content, or otherwise facilitating fraud.
High-risk uses - human oversight required
These uses are permitted, but Snappy should be treated as a research and drafting tool - not the final decision-maker. A qualified human must review outputs before they are acted upon.
Legal advice
Snappy can help you understand legal concepts, draft documents, and research issues. But outputs are not legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship. For anything with legal consequences, consult a licensed attorney.
Medical and health decisions
Snappy can provide general health information and help you prepare for medical appointments. It cannot diagnose conditions or replace a licensed healthcare provider. Always verify health-related information with a qualified professional.
Financial advice
Snappy can help with financial planning, research, and calculations. Outputs are not financial advice regulated by FINRA, SEC, or other bodies. Consult a licensed financial advisor before making significant investment decisions.
Crisis support
Snappy is not a substitute for mental health crisis services. If someone is in immediate danger, call emergency services. For mental health crises, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US).
Automated journalism and public statements
Content generated by Snappy for publication must be reviewed by a human before release. Do not publish AI-generated content as factual reporting without verification. Disclose AI involvement where appropriate.
Employment, education, and consequential evaluations
Do not use Snappy as the sole basis for decisions that significantly affect people's lives - hiring, academic grading, loan approvals, or similar. Human review is required for all consequential decisions about individuals.
AI disclosure requirement
SnappyClaw complies with Utah's AI disclosure requirements. Snappy will identify itself as an AI when directly and sincerely asked. You may not instruct Snappy to deny being an AI to a person who genuinely wants to know if they're talking to a human or an AI.
This applies to all channels - Telegram, Discord, web chat, SMS, and any future channels. Role-play scenarios where the human has established a fictional context are different from sincere inquiries about the nature of the assistant.
Reporting violations
If you become aware of someone using SnappyClaw in violation of this policy, please let us know. We take reports seriously and investigate all credible claims.
Questions about what's allowed?
If you're unsure whether something is permitted, reach out before you proceed. We'd rather clarify upfront than have to terminate an account.
